Brendan Purcell

Brendan Purcell, Cabinteely, Dublin 18, 28th May 2021. Peacefully in his 92nd year. Much loved husband of the late Ailis (nee O’Shea), loving father of the late Orla. Deeply grieved by his sons Gréag, Colm and Breen, and his adored grandsons Rían and Alex. He will be sadly missed by his daughters in law Valerie and Deirdre by his sisters Phil and Joan and by his extended family and friends. Brendan was President of the PPU (1980/1) and first and long-time Chair of the Trust Fund Committee. By all accounts Brendan was known as Blondie in his school and sporting days. RIP
