We had a very good turnout with 38 players ( including 4 visitors) and 36 sat down to dinner.
Captain John White thanked our major sponsor Cathal Mc Carthy of DNG Rathfarnham for his ongoing support. His remarks also included the generous contribution of prizes by our Past President Damien Byrne and Micropro Computers,Nutgrove Avenue which were very much appreciated. Additional contributions were made by a number of members and helped in the success of our raffle.
On our behalf John thanked Castle GC and their staff for making our day a great success.
In closing he reminded us that 1 key objective of our golf days is to help finance some school activities and to that end we had a very successful raffle which raised €945.
